Eddie Shaw & The Wolfgang

Eddie "Vaan" Shaw is the son of Eddie Shaw and has come up under the tutalage of such greats as Howlin Wolf & Hubert Sumlin.  His travels have taken him around the world and back again firmly anchorded in the blues.

Much like his dad, Vaan has written, produced sung his way thru the blues and is widely known as one of the best guitarist performing on the blues circuit.




Lafayette "Shorty" Gilbert was playing bass for  Howlin Wolf when he died in 1976 and continued on with Eddie to form Eddie Shaw & The Wolfgang.   Having survived polo from childhood has never diminished his drive for the blues.  Shorty sings as well as he holds down the fort on the bass.
